Until 1967 Boulder could’t serve beer more than 3.2 when prohibition officially ended The Sink (began in 1923), was a restaurant that sold 3.2 beer once it became legal in 1933 for the students (and Robert Redford was a dishwasher.)
In 1970, Pearl Street was a simple functioning downtown street. The mall was revived and opened in 1977.
