Growing up in Boulder
I was born in Boulder as was my mother and grandmother. In the 1950’s my dad bought a spanking new Ford Falcon station wagon with faux wood siding… I kid you not. Chubby Checker on the tube radio, Let’s Twist Again! After high school graduation (guess the year) I loaded bombs onto Air Force jets, then got into medical electronics and I’m fortunate to share 2 patents with some great guys.
I started a screen print company which is still around, sold it and built an off-grid, earth berm home outside of Montrose Colorado. I’ve run races from 1 to 100 miles with my wife of 30 years JulieAnn.
